WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seekinga full-time Board Certified Cardiologist who specializes in Electrophysiology to join us at Franciscan Health Heart Center Michigan City while also supporting electrophysiology team for Crown Point IN. Interested candidate will join a talented and extensive cardiology team.

WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members within our Cardiology service line to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Split time between Michigan City and Crown Point
Inpatient call coverage 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. 1 week every 3 weeks
Weekend call: 1:3
Average clinic volume: 15 - 20 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: 5 patients per day
Common procedures:
- Permanent Pacemaker implants
- Pacemaker Lead extractions
- Leadless Pacemaker implants
- ICD implants
- Left Atrial Appendage Closure
- Ablations: Atrial Fibrillation Atrial Flutter SVT VT Cryoablation
- Convergent procedures in collaboration with cardiovascular surgeons

Qualifications:

Doctorate - Required
Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required - and -
Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
