Position Overview:
Are you an experienced production professional with hands-on bindery experience Were seeking a skilled Production Associate II to support our bindery and finishing this role youll play a critical part in producing high-quality photographic products through cutting trimming folding mounting and finishing processes while ensuring precision quality and workflow efficiency.
This is not an entry-level production role. Were looking for someone who understands bindery workflows equipment operation and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What Youll Do
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following (100% of time):
Perform bindery and finishing tasks according to SOPs and quality standards
Operate bindery equipment such as cutters folders laminators mounting equipment and finishing machinery
Set up adjust and maintain bindery machines to ensure optimal performance
Perform precision cutting trimming folding and assembly of printed photographic products
Conduct quality inspections and sign off on Tier 2 quality control checkpoints
Identify and report unsafe practices immediately
Troubleshoot equipment and material issues; escalate when necessary
Maintain documentation for production-related activities
Moderate workflow by assigning and delegating production instructions as needed
Handle higher-complexity tasks such as equipment adjustments repairs and paper changes (Advanced Level II)
Manage VIP-specific workflow handling
Access customer orders and internal systems to resolve production issues
Train Level I employees on bindery processes and equipment
Follow lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement practices
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2 years of bindery or print finishing experience required
Experience operating bindery/finishing equipment (cutters folders laminators mounting equipment etc.)
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Experience in a fast-paced print or manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to perform precision work with strong attention to detail
Computer proficiency
Strong communication skills
