Finishing Operator Assistant 2nd ShiftPosition Overview
This position is from Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for monitoring the tenter wing plows on direct coater and carpet width.
Essential Duties:
Ensure the carpet and backing are pinning correctly on the tenter chain
Monitor latex plows and puddle
Trim carpet to correct width using the trim knives
Monitor carpet width after trimming ensuring carpet is trimmed properly
Keep work area clean
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to reach handle stand stoop and climb steps
Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise dirt humidity and temperature variations
