The San Marcos TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler III Role. You will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly tests fabrications and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

We offer a shift differential of $2.00hr per hours worked on 2nd shift.

What You Will Do

Training hours: 7am-3:30pm for up to 90 days.
Working Hours (after the completion of training): 2nd shift hours (3pm-11:30am) Monday -Friday
Performs quality work checks identifies product defects and records identified defects.
Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
Precision Assembly: Utilize hand tools such as drills torque wrenches rivet guns grinders orbital sanders and pull motors for daily assembly tasks.
Measurement & Inspection: Employ measuring equipment including calipers micrometers and standard rulers to ensure products meet specifications.
Blueprints & Instructions: Adherence and understanding of blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.
Testing & Recording: Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process recording gauge readings and test results.
Compliance & Safety: Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.
Quality & Safety Standards: Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing/and or Assembly experience is required
4 or more years of Experience reading and interpreting blueprints diagrams and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
4 or more years of Experience with general hand and/or power tools

Qualifications We Prefer

2 years minimum of relevant machine operation experiencehighly preferred
Maintenance or automated welding experiencepreferred.
Familiaritywithresistance welding
