Job Summary
Job Description
- Serve as the lead analystfor the monthly forecast cycle crafting the narrative highlighting key drivers and partnering with leadership on how to close gaps and achieve financial targets.
- Act as the primary point of contactfor a wide range of stakeholders across the organization (finance product sales accounting operations) ensuring alignment and clarity on financial performance and strategy.
- Challenge and influencebusiness decisions by delivering insightful financial analysis and business case modelingthat clearly lays out risks opportunities and ROI.
- Actively manage your assigned budget and lead month-end and forecasting activities ensuring accuracy timeliness and clear explanations of variances.
- Create and issue 20 invoices per monthto bill API services to Fleet customers and accrue the revenue via MJEs.
- Leverage Databricksto identify Fleet revenue and ensure its correctly bucketed for managerial reporting and performance insights.
- Present key analysis special topics and strategic studies to Senior Leadership up to and including the CFO of Software & Services with clear recommendations and impact summaries.
- Track strategy changes approved throughout the year and ensure they are accurately reflected in the Long Term Plan (LTP).
- Contribute as an active supportive team member collaborating in a culture guided by GMs Values and Behaviors where we win as one team and continuously look for better ways to serve our customers and business.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelors degree preferably in accounting or finance
- 5 years of experience in corporate finance or accounting
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience or familiarity with Hyperion/SAP/OneStream
- Advanced MSFT Office skills
Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren MI three times per week at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business
