Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house team of outstanding this role you will provide person-centered care focused on improving residents independence safety and quality of life through meaningful daily activities and functional outcomes.

Your Impact as an Occupational Therapist (OT)

  • Consult with patients to evaluate their physical condition and its impact on daily occupations well-being and quality of life

  • Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results

  • Develop individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques to maximize performance in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)

  • Assess patients home and living environments and recommend modifications based on their needs and capabilities

  • Recommend adaptive equipment and provide training to support independence and safety

  • Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

  • Monitor patient response to treatment and modify interventions as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

  • Provide clinical education and support to patients family members and caregivers

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care

  • Complete documentation thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations

  • Comply with all applicable rules regulations and procedures

  • Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy license

  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards

  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred

  • Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices

  • Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred

  • Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs

  • Strong communication collaboration and clinical decision-making skills
