Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for creation specification and verification of all internal work products for different electronic control units in electric drive systems fuel cell systems or thermal management.
• Writing software/system test cases is in conformance with the defined coding guidelines and the allocated requirements.
• Review of results against quality criteria documentation of found defects and tracking them to closure.
• Implementation of new and existing test concepts and empowerment of the test environment.
• Guide and assist software developers during initial functional testing and application development.
• To create and maintain the work products:
  1. System Test Cases
  2. System Test Design Specification
  3. System Test Report

Task:

• Develop test cases on system test level which provide evidence that all highest-level software requirements are fulfilled in the software deployed on the target hardware.
• Review software/system test cases against quality criteria document found defects and tracked them to closure.
• Execute software verification on all test levels and document the results.
• Monitor that the defined test cases and safety mechanisms are properly executed.
• Verify that the application-specific embedded software and its calibration data are suitable for release for production.
• Development of test cases for different levels which provide evidence that software requirements are fulfilled from basic HW-SW interface functions up to high level functions.
• Adjust test specifications and test cases so that defects found in reviews or analysis activities are mitigated.
• Develop and empower the test environment for designed test concepts with focus on automation and optimization.
• Remote set up of HiL test environments configuration of user interfaces commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on Tools TestGuide INCA Codebeamer ControlDesk ESys Matlab Simulink is advantageous .
• Knowhow about ISO26262 concepts from validation perspective and ASPICE process understanding is beneficial
• Hands-on understanding on Python scripting for test automation
