Job Title: Lead Android Engineer
Location: North Carolina (Hybrid Local Only)
Duration: Contract to Hire (after 6 months)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead Android Engineer to design and build high-performance native mobile applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in modern Android development along with leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design development and delivery of Android applications
Collaborate with architects product owners and cross-functional teams
Mentor developers on best practices and performance optimization
Write clean testable code with automated testing (JUnit Espresso)
Drive Agile development code reviews and production support

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Android development (Kotlin/Java)
Expertise in modern frameworks (Jetpack Compose MVVM/MVI)
Experience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
Knowledge of CI/CD Git and mobile architecture patterns
Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices

Qualifications:

10 years of software development 5 years in mobile
Strong communication and leadership skills
