Job Summary
What youll do:
The Field Support Technician III (FST III) role is responsible for the implementation installation service support training and supervisory leader of Automation & Robotic Systems for our clients in highly diverse industries. An FST IIIs primary responsibility will be to ensure new system installations are performed successfully. This will require a hands-on application of strong mechanical electrical and PC knowledge and skills. Additionally an. Additional details about what you will be doing includes:
- Primary technical lead for on-site installation repair and training for Automation including Robotics Vision and Motion Control.
- Knowledge of electrical control systems and ability to read schematics diagrams and drawings.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform on-site fabrication assembly installation testing and troubleshooting work.
- Ability to train & develop Field Support Technicians.
- Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to challenging work schedules and business demands.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed averaging 10% - 30% travel time.
- Supporting the manufacturing floor during non-travel times.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven history of troubleshooting testing repairing and servicing technical equipment.
- Proven history of successful customer interaction and providing high levels of customer service.
- ERP Experience SAP preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalency required.
- Associates degree in microelectronics engineering or related field or 1-4 years of field service experience or aptitude preferred.
