Job Summary

description:

Assists surgeons and anesthesiologist and coordinates flow of equipment supplies and staff during a surgical procedure. Assures patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care. Participates in patient care planning assessment and nursing treatment. This position is represented by CNA.

Rotating Shift - 5 x 8s. Start times are 830am 10am and 12noon. M - F. ACLS BLS PALS are required. 2 years of experience. Must have experience in spine ortho gen GYN - ability to scrub is a PLUS. There will be Call. Minimum 1 night a week and a weekend every 5 and Work Experience:Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: RequiredBachelors Degree in Nursing: PreferredOne year previous full time experience in the operating room: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Current RN license in state of practice: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification: PreferredCertified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR): PreferredRegistered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
