Board Certified Radiologists (3 Positions)
On-Site Columbia SC
Location: Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center

Position Overview
Physicians will deliver high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology care to veterans in accordance with VA standards.
Specialties Needed:
- Abdominal / GU
- Breast Imaging
- Cardiovascular
- General Radiology
- Interventional Radiology
- Musculoskeletal
- Neuroradiology
- Authorized User (AU) Radiology
Requirements:
- Current Resume
- Active Medical License (any U.S. State or Territory)
- BLS & ACLS Certification
- Board Certification (American Board of Radiology)
Qualifications:
- Active full and unrestricted medical license (no history of suspension or revocation)
- Board Certified with ongoing continuing education maintained
Strong technical proficiency in:
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Ultrasound
- CT & MRI
- Nuclear Medicine
- Interventional Radiology
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to provide documentation of education training and competency
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties (95%)
- Perform and interpret:
- CT MRI Ultrasound Nuclear Medicine and IR procedures
- Provide consultations to referring physicians
- Review patient cases and consults daily
- Communicate test results to providers and patients
- Conduct post-procedure evaluations and follow-ups
- Deliver discharge education and care coordination
- Ensure compliance with all VA clinical and medication policies
Administrative Duties (5%)
Participate in:
- Quality Improvement (QI) activities
- Staff and committee meetings
- Peer reviews (4 hours/month)
- Complete QA/QI documentation
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and reporting standards
Schedule & Coverage:
- Clinic Hours: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- On-Call Coverage:
- Weekdays: 4:30 PM 8:00 AM
- Weekends: Friday 4:30 PM Monday 8:00 AM
On-Call Expectations:
- Available by phone within 15 minutes
- Able to be on-site within 60 minutes

Physicians will provide services consistent with state-of-the-art civilian medical facilities and meet or exceed national standards of care for radiology services.
