Job Summary
Job Title: General Laborer
Position Overview:
We are looking for someone who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed in the warehouse. This is a great role for someone who is a quick learner and does not mind doing physical labor. The ideal candidate is a quick learner team orientated and willing to jump in wherever support is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Float between departments to provide support where workload demands are highest
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (training may be provided)
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform general labor tasks as assigned by supervisors
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred. but not required
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices
- Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment
- Flexibility to work in different areas and perform a variety of tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing walking bending and lifting
- Ability to push and pull equipment and products
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Capable of maintaining energy throughout an 10-hour shift
