Responsibilities include assisting with specific administrative and rehabilitation duties to one or more vocational rehabilitation professionals conducting intake interviews counseling consumers on job and career development goals providing job search and case management assistance coordinating services with local businesses and collaborating with network workforce partners in local communities.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of disability rights culture history and working with individuals with disabilities.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and records stenography and transcription designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
Ability to interpret and use medical and psychological information to make sound decisions.
Ability to be proactive organized and manage caseloads.
Ability to be sensitive respectful and communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds cultures and languages.
Strong written and oral communication skills; public speaking skills.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in human services field including but not limited to Rehabilitation Counseling Social Work Psychology Sociology Behavioral Sciences and Education including Early Childhood Elementary and Special Education.
One year of experience in career counseling social work or human services.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
