Quality Specification Specialist
Job Summary
As a Quality Specification Specialist you play a key role in ensuring that our products comply with international food regulations and quality standards. You act as the link between regulatory requirements and practical implementation across the business.
Function
- Stay up to date with food and packaging regulations across different regions (e.g. US Canada Asia) in close collaboration with the Regulatory Compliance team
- Translate regulatory requirements into accurate product specifications and labels ensuring compliance with legal standards industry requirements and customer expectations
- Contribute to the development of harmonized procedures and guidelines to improve efficiency and standardization
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Quality NPD Marketing Supply Chain and Sales
- Manage daily operational tasks including:
- Maintaining label layouts for frozen products
- Managing product and recipe data in SAP
- Creating and updating product specifications
- Maintaining customer-specific portals
- Assessing the impact of raw material or recipe changes on labels and specifications
- Providing product-related information to internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and specification-related projects
- Report to the Specification Manager
Your Profile
- Scientific background preferably in Nutrition Dietetics or a related field
- Initial experience in a similar role within the food industry is a strong asset
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent digital skills; affinity with structured data formulas and logic (experience with SAP and WWI is a plus)
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Eager to learn and grow
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluent in English and Dutch
