Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Job Location: 301 Centennial Mall South Lincoln Nebraska 68508
Examples of Work
Job duties of the Delivery Lead include:
- Serves as functional lead (coordinates work efforts assigns work prepares project/work plans
- Monitors work progress and prepares project progress reports).
- Align priorities for the technical teams and customers and ensure delivery teams work supports priorities
- Management and tracking of commitments
- Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets commitments and progress
- Understands and monitors team capacity and assignments
- Works to minimize meetings but when needed they are well-run and efficient
- Manages and coordinates cross team dependencies
- Actively works to identify and manage impediments and escalates appropriately
- Conduct Scope inquiries and facilitate business requirements sessions as needed
- Consult with leadership on system best practices
- Assist in documentation of business processes business rules policies and standards
- Communicate with business and technical team members
Qualifications/Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in project management business administration public administration business information systems or a field related to the functions of the hiring agency AND two years of experience as a project manager with the responsibility to oversee the coordination planning initiation and completion of major/long-term projects. OR Four years of experience and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). OR Five years of experience working on medium-to-large projects. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Workfront / Jira
- Cross functional technical teams COBOL / AION / GEN
- SDLC Software Development Lifecycle
- Windows 365 Product Suite
- Release planning / reporting
- PMP Certification
