The Columbiana County Career & Technical Center Board of Education is accepting applications for Treasurer/CFO. This position serves as the districts chief fiscal officer and works collaboratively with the Board of Education Superintendent and administrative team to ensure high-quality educational programming and sound fiscal management in accordance with Ohio law and Board support of the districts mission to prepare youth and adults to make informed career choices and to successfully enter compete and advance in a changing work world the Treasurer provides leadership in maintaining financial stability transparency and long-term fiscal Overview: The Treasurer serves as the chief fiscal officer of the district and is responsible for the administration supervision and accountability of all financial affairs of the school district in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Board policy and generally accepted accounting Responsibilities:In accordance with Ohio Revised Code and Board policy the Treasurer shall:Serve as the chief fiscal officer of the school districtReceive invest and disburse district funds in compliance with Ohio lawPrepare and present monthly and annual financial reports to the Board of EducationMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Auditor of State requirements and reporting standardsPrepare the annual appropriations budget and financial forecastMonitor revenues and expenditures to ensure fiscal compliance and long-term stabilityOversee payroll accounts payable accounts receivable and benefits administrationEnsure compliance with collective bargaining agreements related to compensation and benefitsCoordinate and serve as liaison for all financial auditsManage district investments insurance programs and internal controlsAdvise the Board of Education and Superintendent on all fiscal mattersPerform other duties as assigned by the Board consistent with Ohio law

Required Experience:

Chief
