Whats the role about

We are seeking an Accounting Team Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for the quality of deliverables supervising team workflow and ensuring that defined standards and deadlines are consistently met.

What will you be doing

Financial Accuracy & Compliance Review and analyse General Ledger data oversee monthend/yearend closing and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.

Team Leadership & Development Support team tasks resolve escalations set objectives and coach junior team members.

Stakeholder & Interdepartmental Collaboration Build and maintain strong relationships ensure effective intercompany reconciliations and support audit processes.

Risk Management & Quality Control Define and implement controls identify risks and maintain high standards of operational quality.

Process Improvement & Efficiency Identify opportunities to optimise workflows enhance accuracy and improve operational performance.

What will set you up for success

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting preferably in a GBS/shared services environment
• Experience as People Manager
• Strong financial analytical and communication skills
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles (US GAAP knowledge is a plus)
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle is a plus) processes and workflow technology
• Ability to work independently and deliver highquality work within tight deadlines
• Language skills: English minimum B2
