Job Description

Job Title - Oracle Cloud VMware Solution Architect

Experience - 10 - 15 Years

Location - PAN India

Notice - Immediate to 30 days

Requirement:-

The OCVS Architect is responsible for designing deploying and governing VMwarebased enterprise workloads on Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS).The role ensures secure scalable and compliant hybrid cloud architectures enabling seamless migration and operations of VMware estates on OCI.

Key Responsibilities:-

Design endtoend OCVS architecture including SDDC clusters ESXi hosts NSXT and networking.
Architect onpremises / Nutanix / VMware to OCVS migrations covering assessment migration strategy cutover planning and risk mitigation.
Define hybrid connectivity (FastConnect DRG IPSec VPN) between onprem OCI and other clouds.
Architect security governance and network segmentation using OCI IAM NSGs security lists and NSX.
Define migration strategies (liftandshift phased migration DR enablement).
Guide capacity planning sizing and cost optimization for OCVS.
Provide architectural oversight for DR HA backup compliance and failover designs
Collaborate with OCI DB EBS and application teams.
Act as technical authority during solution design proposals and delivery governance.

Mandatory Skills:-

10-15 years of experience in VMware infrastructure.
Handson experience with Oracle Cloud VMware Solution (OCVS).
Strong expertise in:
- VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter
- NSXT (logical switching routing firewalls)
- OCI networking (VCN DRG FastConnect IPSec)
Experience in enterprise cloud migrations.
Strong understanding of OCI IAM security and governance.
Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.

Preferred Skills:-

Experience migrating Oracle workloads (EBS DB Exadatabacked apps) to OCI / OCVS.
Knowledge of HCX migration strategies.
Exposure to DR drills BC planning and regulatory environments.
Automation exposure (Terraform / OCI CLI).
