Key Responsibilities

Prepare and set up operating rooms with necessary surgical instruments and equipment
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures
Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Ensure proper handling cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
Assist with patient positioning and preparation before surgery
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Required Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Surgical Technician or Surgical Assistant preferred
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures tools and sterile techniques
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
High attention to detail and patient safety

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a Surgical Technology program preferred

Certifications & Licensure

Surgical Technologist Certification (Preferred)
BLS Certification (Preferred)
