Job Summary
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor this role is responsible for supporting the upkeep and reliability of production equipment and facility systems. The position focuses on performing preventative maintenance diagnosing equipment issues and carrying out necessary repairs to ensure smooth operations across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues identify root causes and complete timely repairs
Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inspections
Support and follow all safety policies and environmental guidelines
Inspect machinery and equipment components to ensure proper functionality and performance
Assist with general facility maintenance as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Skills in welding cutting and basic fabrication
At least 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting or 5 years in heavy equipment/automotive repair (e.g. trucks buses construction oil & gas) or a combination of training and hands-on experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
