12-Month fixed-term opportunity
The Senior Finance Business Analyst plays a key role in the Universitys multiyear Finance Transformation Programme. Working closely with Finance stakeholders delivery teams and vendors youll lead analysis and redesign of finance processes to support a modern efficient and futurefocused finance function.
Youll be responsible for understanding currentstate processes designing fitforpurpose futurestate solutions and supporting implementation through to golive. This is a handson role that combines deep finance knowledge with strong business analysis capability and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading business requirements gathering process analysis and futurestate design for assigned finance process areas
- Mapping and analysing currentstate processes and identifying improvement opportunities
- Supporting RFP development vendor evaluation and solution design
- Working with delivery teams to support testing implementation testing and adoption
- Coaching and mentoring finance subject matter experts throughout the transformation
- Contributing to change management training and transition to businessasusual
This is a 12-Month fixed term full-time role (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday) with a salary range of $150-168000 per annum depending on experience.

Youre an experienced finance business analyst with a strong background in largescale transformation or ERPenabled change. Youre analytical structured and confident working in complex environments with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into practical solutions.
You enjoy improving processes challenging the status quo and working collaboratively to deliver sustainable outcomes.
You will bring:
- Significant experience as a finance business analyst leading complex process and systems initiatives such as large-scale finance transformation or ERP-enabled change programmes
- Strong finance domain knowledge and experience across core finance processes
- Advanced business analysis skills including requirements elicitation process mapping and gap analysis
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting business or a related discipline
