Moving mountains together as Bench Scientist II / Senior Bench Scientist I Mass Spectrometry & Characterization of Therapeutic Proteins (all genders)
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Scientist II:
- Assist in designing and performing mass spectrometric experiments.
- Support project teams with key analytical data.
- Learn from experienced scientists and gradually take ownership of experiments.
- Participate in scientific discussions and team collaborations.
Senior Scientist I:
- Independently design execute and interpret complex MS experiments.
- Share advanced analytical insights in local and global meetings
- Mentor colleagues and serve as a key resource for technical expertise.
- Drive publications patents and presentations.
- Maintain and optimize high-resolution MS instruments (QTOF Orbitrap).
Qualifications :
Scientist II:
- Bachelors 7 years experience or masters degree in chemistry biochemistry biotechnology pharmacy or related field 5 years experience.
- Some hands-on exposure to mass spectrometry in academia or industry.
- Eagerness to learn advanced instrumentation (QTOF Orbitrap).
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to grow.
- Communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Senior Scientist I:
- Masters degree 8 years experience Bachelors 10 years experience or PhD and no (some) experience necessary.
- Proven proficiency in mass spectrometry and protein characterization techniques.
- Experience in monoclonal antibody work (peptide mapping intact mass analysis).
- Additional skills in SEC IEX HIC CE CD DSC are beneficial.
- Excellent communication in English and German.
