As a Senior Payroll Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while supporting and coordinating team activities in an international environment.
Your tasks:
Performing and reviewing daily payroll activities
Processing monthly and mid-month payroll
Providing professional support to team members reviewing their work and supporting work organization
Maintaining payroll-related documentation and records
Ensuring consistency with the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) current accounts
Preparing payroll-related general ledger postings and ensuring full consistency
Performing declarations and data reporting tasks
Supporting and participating in official audits and inspections
Monitoring changes in labor law and taxation
Answering payroll and taxation-related queries
Handling tasks related to employee onboarding and offboarding
Preparing internal reports payroll data reports and statutory declarations
Participating in system testing activities
Monitoring and following up on arrears
Maintaining contact with authorities
Qualifications :
Payroll qualification; higher education degree is an advantage
Minimum 35 years of relevant payroll experience
Solid experience with Hungarian payroll processes (mandatory)
Knowledge of SAP HR module
Confident user-level knowledge of MS Office especially Excel
Experience in a multinational or consulting environment is an advantage
Project coordination and work organization experience
Active Hungarian and confident English language skills (written and spoken)
