Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and lead thetechnical and business architectureof large-scale healthcare information systems (e.g. HIS EMR PACS LIS) ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and clinical/business needs.
- Translateclinical workflows and business requirementsinto scalable secure and maintainable software architectures.
- Drive end-to-end architecture decisions across backend services frontend UI data storage integration and deployment pipelines while ensuring alignment with business KPIs and product roadmap.
- Collaborate with product managers clinical experts and business stakeholders to define system requirements prioritize features and identify technical enablers for business growth.
- Apply principles ofSDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)and methodologies such asLean/Agile/XP CI/CD Software and Product Security Scalability Documentation Practices Refactoring and Testing Techniques.
- Develop and maintain architecture blueprints integration strategies and scalability plans aligned with healthcare industry standards (e.g. HL7 DICOM FHIR).
- Guide and mentor software development teams in best practices for architecture design code quality performance optimization and security.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks frameworks and tools that align with long-term product vision and business strategy.
- Lead technical due diligence and system integration efforts during hospital deployments and upgrades while consideringbusiness impact and ROI.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations in healthcare IT cloud computing and AI-enabled clinical workflows and assess their business applicability.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Masters degree or higherin Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experiencein software development and architecture with at least5 years in a senior or lead architect role.
- Deep expertise inJava-based enterprise architecture including Spring Boot RESTful APIs microservices service mesh technologies.
- Strong understanding offrontend technologies(e.g. React Vue Angular JavaScript HTML5 CSS) and full-stack integration patterns.
- Proficient indatabase architecture and data modeling with experience in relational (e.g. PostgreSQL Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB Cassandra) and tools like JPA Hibernate JDBC Spring Data.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying complex hospital information systems in real-world clinical environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such asHL7 DICOM FHIR and IHE integration profiles.
- Experience withcloud platforms(e.g. Alibaba Cloud AWS Azure) and containerized deployment (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring engineering teams and influencing technical strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to work withnon-technical stakeholders understand business objectives and translate them into technical strategies.
- Excellent communication documentation and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience in anAgile/XP environment with a solid understanding ofCI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and software security best practices.
