What Quality Control contributes to Cardinal Health
Quality develops and implements quality policies procedures and processes to ensure products and services comply with regulatory standards and specifications.
Quality Control is responsible for the analysis or inspection of materials components products or processes for compliance with specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Support Investigation of NCR Containment investigation and disposition of NCR product.
- Perform sampling and conduct applicable testing/inspection on all sampled production lots.
- Report issues in the inspections to QA Supervisor and / or Production Supervisor for further action
- Identify status of the product (i.e. accept or reject) based on results of testing/inspection
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience preferred
- High School diploma GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience preferred
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses training and certifications
- Works on basic and routine assignments
- Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods.
- Adheres to all quality guidelines. Works under close supervision.
- All work is reviewed for accuracy. Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
