The UK Sports Institute and have an exciting opportunity for a part time Performance Lifestyle Practitioner to work in our Loughborough hub on a fixed term basis(6 12 Months)
A snapshot of the role
The Performance Lifestyle Practitioner plays a vital role in delivering personalised high-quality support that enables athletes to thrive both in sport and in life beyond it.
Working across multiple sports and daily training environments within the Loughborough region this role will involve direct engagement with athletes to support them in balancing the demands of high-performance sport while also contributing to their holistic development and wellbeing Aligned with the UKSI Performance Lifestyle Delivery Framework and Principles and the wider athlete support strategy the PL Practitioner contributes to the holistic support and development of athletes across key Performance Lifestyle pillars including athlete wellbeing career development educational guidance financial health and transitions.
The role will also lead the effective onboarding of athletes and key stakeholders into the hub-based Performance Lifestyle provision ensuring consistent integrated and athlete-centred support across the high-performance system.
