The salary range for this position is $85000 - $115000 which will be determined based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering Specialist (afternoon shift) is responsible for developing and implementing optimal cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards across a multi shift operation. This role involves recommending and implementing improvements to production processes methods and controls and coordinating manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design develop and test manufacturing processes including production flow assembly methods and production equipment.
  • Analyze and plan workforce utilization space requirements workflow and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals training team members and evaluating results.
  • Conduct research and development of new manufacturing processes and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • College/University level education in Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of experience in related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes engineering principles and production equipment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Lean/Six Sigma training is a plus
