What youll do
At SAP Business AI we are exploring the next frontier of AI on structured business data like graphstablesand Models on structured data like SAP-RPT-1 have ushered in the GenAI era for business relevant we are pushing further. We want to enable companies across all industries to collaboratively train foundation models and build knowledge graphs.
As a leading Architect(f/m/d)inthislargerinitiativeyou will work on the designandimplementa platform fordata federation data enrichmentandtrainingdeploymentas well asoperation ofmulti-modalfoundation work will complement existing AI platformsand overcomegapswhen it comes to bringing togethercurrentfoundation modeltraining approaches symbolic approaches like Knowledge Graphsand enterprise data in a distributed heterogeneous environment.
This is the ideal role for an ambitious highly focused individualwho candrive profound technicalalignments as well asswiftly maneuver in adynamicenvironment with multiple involved teamsand a high degree ofsenior management attention.
The Role
Drivetechnical architectureand design topicsof thedata and trainingplatform
Define the components for multimodal data integration and knowledge graph-based asset exploration
Produce reliable future-proofand evolvingarchitecture definitions and documentation for engineering teams implementing platform components
Ensure secure policy-compliment handling of proprietary industrial dataset and models (authentication linage provenance licensing metadata)
Coordinateeffectivelywith technical product and management stakeholdersacross multiple involved teamsandensurealignmentwith theoverarchingtechnicalconcepts andproject vision
Support delivery teams withyourdeep technicalguidance onintegration patternsplatform configurationand performance optimizationtopics
What you bring
8yearsofrelated professionalexperienceinbuilding andarchitectingcomponentsofdataplatforms orML/AIsolutions
Strong background in data engineering including data federation patternsandpipelines; experiencehandling heterogeneous multi-modal datais a plus
Expertisein designing secure and compliant systems with deep understanding of data governance lineage provenanceandisolationforsensitive industrial dataand models;familiarity withconcepts in the realm of data spacesandrelated protocols is a plus.
Hands-on experience working with knowledge graphs and / or foundation models (-tuning) is a plus
Strong hands-on software engineering skillsproficiencyinPython and at least one other programming language
Ability to translate business and research requirements into robust scalable technical platform designs
Experienced in collaborating effectively with productconsultingand customer teams as well as other stakeholders
Strong communicationand documentation skills for technical stakeholders(engineers data scientists architects)
Beingcomfortableworkingin a complexevolvingenvironmentwith multiple partnerstechnologiesand dependenciesiteratingthearchitectureascomponents evolve
