Join Amazons Fire TV organization as a Principal Product Manager - Technical where youll act as the Chief Product Officer (CPO) for a prestigious global TV brands entire Fire TV lineup. Key job responsibilities
* Understand the needs and related trends for customers TV partners and offline consumer electronics retailers
* Keep abreast with the technologies and trends related to TVs
* Work closely with the TV partner to define a strategy that drives growth innovation and delights customers
* Define the global roadmap for TVs including TV line-up specifications software features working backwards from customers partners industry and business needs
* Develop detailed crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application
* Work closely with engineering program management and QA teams to implement and deliver the product on-time and exceeding a high-quality bar
* Drive decisions across cross-functional teams that include engineering UX and commercial teams.
* Drive product launches in concert with Engineering Go to Market operations PR and other teams

A day in the life
* Work with TV partners on defining the product roadmap product requirements
* Write BRDs strategy docs or PRFAQs
* Work with engineering and other tech teams to build the product and see them through launch
* Work with go-to-market business development finance PR and other internal teams on the launch of TVs

- 8 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal)
- 4 years of experience working on products that require tight hardware-software co-development including platform software integration performance tuning and cross-functional collaboration among hardware software and firmware teams

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
- 2 years of consumer electronics experience
- Experience working with smart TVs streaming devices set-top boxes soundbars or other connected entertainment/living room devices

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
