Position Summary
Our client a law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys in the Trust & Estates and Real Estate practice groups. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of trust administration estate planning and real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Trust & Estates Support
Assist attorneys with trust administration including asset inventory valuation and distribution
Prepare estate planning documents such as wills trusts powers of attorney and advance healthcare directives
Draft probate court filings and supporting documentation
Communicate with clients beneficiaries and financial institutions regarding trust and estate matters
Maintain and organize client files both physical and electronic
Track deadlines and ensure compliance with court and statutory requirements
Real Estate Support
Assist with preparation and review of real estate documents including purchase agreements leases deeds and closing documents
Coordinate due diligence processes including title review and obtaining necessary reports (e.g. title escrow and surveys)
Prepare closing binders and ensure proper execution and recording of documents
Communicate with escrow officers title companies lenders and clients to facilitate transactions
Conduct basic legal research related to real estate matters
Qualifications
Bachelors degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
Minimum of 35 years of paralegal experience in trust & estates and/or real estate law
Strong knowledge of probate procedures trust administration and real estate transactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail organization and time management

High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
Strong client service orientation
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
