Ready for your next career step We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to strengthen our Finance team in Hamburg and play a key role in supporting our financial success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing business transactions independently across accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and fixed assets accounting
- Handle account reconciliations clear open items and maintain accurate bookings in line with IFRS and HGB standards
- Support the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual group financial statements under IFRS as well as the local annual financial statements under HGB
- Collaborate with other departments on internal analyses reporting and ensuring account accuracy
- Take part in initiatives to streamline optimize and digitize our financial processes
Your Profile
- Prior experience in financial accounting combined with a commercial background additional qualification as a certified accountant is a plus
- Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA (SAP FICO)
- Proficient with MS Office tools Advanced excel skills required
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in English
- Take initiative and tackle tasks in an organized analytical manner
- Thrive under pressure staying reliable and responsible even in challenging situations
- Hands-on mentality with a proactive solution-oriented approach able to maintain an overview in dynamic and fast-paced environment
