As a Airport Security Professional - Curbside Patrolin Lihue HI you will safeguard the airport staff and its facilities. Along with driving patrolling checking and securing doors.As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid Drivers License (1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check physical and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors passengers and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures post orders and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals curbside areas parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas check credentials as directed and assist with maintaining orderly lines queues and/or pedestrian traffic flow.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including disturbances medical calls suspicious items and/or alarms and request assistance as needed.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
