Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (Day/Night Rotation)

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced high-acuity environment and delivers exceptional patient care in emergency settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Deliver emergency care including IV starts ventilator support and telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Supervise and support ancillary staff
Serve as charge or resource nurse when needed
Ensure compliance with safety infection control and hospital policies
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State-specific)
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience
At least 1 year of ER travel experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong skills in IV therapy ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
Completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams (as required)
Excellent communication critical thinking and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
De-escalation certification
