EY GDS - Python AI Engineer
Within the last decade digital transformation and AI engineering have emerged as critical enabling global organizations. EY GDS leverages modern AI cloud and automation technologies to build scalable innovative and business-focused digital solutions for clients worldwide.
As part of our global team you will contribute to next-generation AI engineering initiatives working on complex high-impact projects that support clients across multiple industries.
The Opportunity
We offer you a challenging role where you will design and implement advanced AI-driven solutions using Python AWS PostgreSQL and modern data frameworks. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate internationally and contribute to strategic digital transformation programs.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI and cloud-based solutions using Python AWS services and PostgreSQL.
- Engage with product owners business analysts and global stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead code reviews testing strategies and deployment activities ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Develop and maintain pharmaceutical forecasting models leveraging analytics historical data and cross-functional inputs.
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver insights analytical presentations and decision-support materials.
- Perform business analysis modeling and automation using SQL and Python.
- Provide strategic guidance on assumptions risks and optimization opportunities in forecasting and AI workflows.

To Qualify for the Role You Must Have
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field.
- 4 years of experience in Python application development (FastAPI or Django or Flask)
- Hands-on experience with AWS application design and deployment.
- Experience with AI governance guardrails and internal AI tools.
- Knowledge of AI development of lifecycle practices and AI agent tool design.
- Strong understanding of database design and optimization.
- Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
Additionally Good to Have
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
