School nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being academic success and life-long achievement and health of students. To that end school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety including a healthy environment; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation self-management self advocacy and learning. The Arlington Public Schools is looking for a full timeschool nurse for Peirce Elementary School to start for the 2026-27 school year.
Candidates must have a Bachelors in Science in Nursing and be licensed as an R.N. by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
Candidates must be licensed as a School Nurse by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Experience as a School Nurse is preferred.
Must have CPR Certification
Arlington has a well established new teacher induction program with mentoring throughout the school year.
Salary and Benefits are consistent with theCollective Bargaining Agreement between the Arlington School Committee and the Arlington Education Association.
