Job Summary
As an IT Business Relationship Manager you will act as the key interface between the business and IT ensuring that IT services initiatives and priorities are aligned with business objectives.
Building and maintaining strategic relationships with assigned business stakeholders
Acting as the primary point of contact between business lines and IT
Collaborating closely with internal IT stakeholders including Service Management Service Owners Change Delivery and IT Leadership
Understanding the business lines strategy and translating it into IT-related needs and priorities
Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring clear communication across all levels
Identifying and driving service improvement opportunities together with business and IT teams
Leading business analysis activities for idea generation demand management and solution shaping
Guiding business-driven IT initiatives through governance and delivery stages primarily in a waterfall environment
Supporting the ongoing development and maturity of the BRM function
Working with Service Owners and Service Management to shape the service portfolio and service lifecycle
niversity degree or equivalent practical experience
Certifications in ITIL and/or Project Management are advantageous
Strong ability to build credibility and trust with both business and IT stakeholders
Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Diplomatic persuasive and confident in handling challenging stakeholder situations
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong interest in technology and prior experience working within IT organizations
Proven experience in stakeholder management across different seniority levels
Solid understanding of IT Service Management service levels and related operational processes
Experience in business analysis demand management and governance-driven delivery
Familiarity with waterfall project delivery is important
