CS-579 SAP MDG MM & BP Designer

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG MM & BP Designer with strong expertise in implementing and configuring Master Data Governance solutions. The candidate will design and implement governance processes for Material Master and Business Partner data ensuring data quality compliance and efficient data lifecycle management across enterprise systems.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to implement scalable MDG solutions and integrate them with core SAP landscapes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Participate in SAP MDG implementation projects focusing on Material Master and Business Partner domains.
Design and implement data governance processes and workflows.
Configure and extend MDG data models including Data Model Extensions.
Set up and manage MDG Data Import Framework (DIF) for master data loads.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure proper governance of master data.
Support integrations with **SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
Work with development teams on enhancements and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper documentation testing and compliance with project standards.
Support master data migration validation and governance processes.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with **SAP Master Data Governance implementation.
Experience working with MDG Material (MDG-M) and MDG Business Partner (MDG-BP) domains.
Good knowledge of Material Master Customer and Vendor data in SAP ECC/S4.
Experience with MDG Data Import Framework (DIF).
Hands-on experience in MDG Data Model Extension.
Experience working with BRF rules framework in MDG.
Knowledge of **ABAP within MDG environments.
Full lifecycle implementation experience in SAP MDG projects.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Familiarity with other MDG domains such as Finance or Equipment (MDG-EAM / AIW).
Experience with SAP integration tools and middleware.
Knowledge of data migration and master data governance best practices.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Strong documentation and change management skills.
