Job Summary

Hybrid couple days a week in St Petersburg FL or Cincinnati OH

We are seeking a Juniper Data Center Router & Switching Engineer to manage configure and support Juniper routing and switching infrastructure within a data center environment. This role focuses on high availability performance and scalability of the network with an emphasis on core aggregation and access layer routing and switching — not firewall administration.

Responsibilities:

Configure maintain and troubleshoot Juniper routers and switches in a data center environment.
Administer and optimize routing protocols including BGP OSPF and IS-IS.
Perform configuration changes upgrades and capacity planning to support network growth.
Monitor network health performance and redundancy features (HA ECMP LAG VRRP etc.).
Troubleshoot complex routing and switching incidents across core and data center networks.
Develop and support network automation using Python PyEZ Ansible or similar tools.
Collaborate with engineering operations and application teams to integrate network solutions.
Maintain accurate network documentation diagrams and configuration standards.
Work with vendors as needed to support continuous improvement and operational reliability.

Must Have Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Juniper routers and switches.
Deep understanding of data center routing and switching architectures.
Experience with BGP OSPF IS-IS in production environments.
Familiarity with redundancy high availability and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills:

Network automation experience (Python Ansible PyEZ).
Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise data center networks.
