JOB TITLE: Aircraft Structural & Mechanical Systems Assembler
LOCATION: North Charleston SC
PAY RATE: $26/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Assemble structural parts mechanical systems and sub-assemblies
Follow detailed work instructions blueprints and specifications
Collaborate with Integrated Build Teams to resolve production issues
Identify and escalate production constraints
Support Lean Manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with cross-training and team performance improvement
Support overtime as needed to meet production goals

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required
Vocational training or Associate degree preferred
1 year of manufacturing or fabrication experience
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office email etc.)
Ability to work variable shifts (1st 2nd or 3rd)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Aerospace manufacturing experience
