Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $38.52/hr $55.26/hr (based on experience)

• Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Behavioral Health (RN) to lead the operations of an inpatient behavioral health unit. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care operational efficiency and staff development while meeting clinical financial and patient satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Health department (24/7 coverage).

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including Joint Commission and hospital policies.

• Manage staffing operations including scheduling staffing ratios and productivity.

• Lead recruitment onboarding performance management and staff development.

• Drive quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient satisfaction outcomes.

• Collaborate with physicians leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

• Monitor departmental budgets expenses and resource utilization.

• Ensure safe therapeutic care for adult and geriatric populations.

• Provide leadership mentorship and professional guidance to nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Licensure:

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required

• CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) required within 90 days of hire

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience in an acute care setting

• Minimum 13 years of leadership experience (Charge RN Supervisor Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager)

• Prior experience managing clinical teams and hospital operations preferred
