Accounting Manager / Team Lead (m/w/x)
Your tasks
- Leading a two-person accounting team and working closely with cross-functional leaders demonstrating the ability to communicate collaborate and influence across various stakeholder groups.
- Managing and monitoring all accounting operational functions and booking processes
- Responsibility for the timely preparation and documentation of monthly and quarterly financial statements according to HGB
- Coordinating and preparing of annual financial statements
- Coordination and supervision of annual audits in cooperation with auditors
- Preparation for the preliminary VAT return and of the company tax return
- Maintain credit management system to assess risk grant credit up to approved limits monitor customers periodically and communicate effectively to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Management of company insurances
- Continuous optimization and further development of policies procedures and accounting processes and systems to increase efficiency and quality including support for ERP project
What we expect
- Bachelors degree in accounting business administration or Tax clerk with many years of professional experience
- 3 - 6 years of experience in accounting Certified public accountant would be a plus
- 2 years of experience as a team leader
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting
- Mindset geared toward accuracy stewardship policy and ethics
- Intellectually curious and aptitude for accounting and financial reporting
- Problem-solving skills & communicates clearly and effectively
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software e.g. Exact SAP NetSuite DATEV etc.
- Excellence in German and fluency in business English spoken and written
- Resume in English
