BI Reporting Specialist

Role description: An experienced BI Developer used to work with multiple stakeholders to understand analyze and translate their requirements into accurate information reports dashboards and visualizations enabling users to make strategic and operational decisions and improvements. You will have experience of various reporting platforms SQL and Power BI are a must MS Fabric knowledge preferable.

Role accountabilities:

• Report and Dashboard Creation: Understanding requirements and translating these into the reports needed by different stakeholders.
• Reporting Management:Ensure that workload is progressed efficiently and as directed. Ensure all reporting is documented to ensure full understanding and transparency over published dashboard and reports.
• Other Ad Hoc Tasks: Work with the management team to identify areas of continual improvement in the Operational Support & Performance Management reporting area.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience working with SQL is essential
• Experience with Power BI is ideal
• Experience with Grafana reporting platform is ideal
• Experience with BMC Helix reporting platform is ideal
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Any IT Service Management experience would be useful although not essential such as:
  • IT service and support management
  • Relevant service desk systems and tools
  • Understanding with SLAs and KPIs
• Nice to Haves:
  • Able to create Pipelines to automate and orchestrate complex multi-step workflows and control flow
  • Dataflows Gen2: Perform user-friendly visual data preparation and transformation
  • Notebooks: Apply advanced custome logic complex algorithms or machine learning
