As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rover Patrol in Tucson AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed Patrol Officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds support access points and report unusual activity while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly assist employees and visitors with professionalism and work as part of an agile reliable team that acts with integrity every day.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings production areas parking lots and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points by checking identification managing visitor registration and/or badges controlling entry and exit and directing individuals to authorized destinations per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site contacts and local responders as needed.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports incident reports and patrol logs and communicate key information to supervisors and incoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
