Job Summary:
We are looking for aProcess Technician in Concord NC. The process technician is responsible for keeping automated assemblyequipment and molding systems running properly. This person will use a logicalmethodical approach to determine root cause of equipment malfunction and make thenecessary repairs. If the repairs go beyond their abilities they will communicate in detailto engineering or maintenance and assist with the repairs. This person will also assistsupervisors in execution of the production plan.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot automated semi-automated and manual equipment. Use mechanical skills and critical thinking to determine root cause of equipment malfunctions.
- Use a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Test electrical components and replace as needed.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
- Perform tooling changes as applicable in the department
- Perform material handler as needed
- Determine tooling problems and communicate with tool room to resovle issues.
- Lead set up techs in the department to ensure process efficiency
- Utilize 5S continuous improvement and Lean tools daily to improve the department.
- As necessary partner with maintenance and engineering
- All other activities as assigned by the Supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED required. Prefer degree/certificate from college or technical school.
- Experience: Progressive manufacturing experience
- Very high mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of PLC controlled equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot electro/mechanical assemblies
- Ability to use a multimeter to check voltage resistance and continuity
- Ability to effectively communicate technical issues with engineering and maintenance departments
- ASI System and NCR Database
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Able to work overtime when necessary
- Able to stand the majority of the workday.
- Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility bending kneeling
- pushing and pulling.
- Manual dexterity required for assembly and operating tools andmachines.
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment properly without risk to selfothers and equipment.
- Ability and applied knowledge of the material handler job description.
