Job Summary
EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) provides Facilities Management and Workplace Services such as operations & maintenance services janitorial & housekeeping grounds maintenance mail room operations energy management asset management project management and environmental health & safety to public and private sectors of nearly every market. Managing more than 1 billion square feet worldwide our people have the optimal blend of capabilities and technical expertise to help clients achieve the highest levels of performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Incoming /Outgoing USPS mail and package delivery to employee desk or work area.
- 3 rounds of restroom cleaning & restocking (3 sets of restrooms) 3 times daily (10am-12pm-2pm)
- Spot Cleaning- as needed
- Kitchenette cleaning 3 times a shift. (3 full breakrooms 1 Kitchenette)
- Cafe Stocking (Coffee Supplies Plates Silverware Napkins)
- Training Room Cleaning - Pre & Post meeting or as available.
- Stocking Janitorial Supplies in Closets.
- Sweeping Entrance Carpet as needed.
- Project clean up
- Assorted small ask tasking
Qualifications
Education (HS Diploma Under/Graduate Degree etc.) | HS Diploma or equivalent |
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) | 0-2 Years minimum experience in janitorial services |
Licenses/Certifications | Clean driving record |
Language Skills | Ability to read write and understand English Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff |
Technical Qualifications & Skills | Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines i.e. vacuums floor scrubbers/buffers etc. as well as use common hand tools. |
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies |
Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions |
Preferable candidate will have basic technical abilities to send emails fill out reports and use CMMS WO system. |
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision |
Physical Demands
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequent walking climbing stairs standing reaching bending and stooping
Work Environment
Environment includes office space as well as clinical/healthcare.
