What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as lobbies corridors parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with access control concerns visitor issues and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with post orders.
- Monitor entrances restricted areas and high-traffic zones for unusual activity and/or assist staff with maintaining orderly movement of visitors and deliveries.
- Document and report incidents observations and patrol activity per site requirements and/or communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Applicants must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and provide proof of the diploma or GED.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Applicants must be able to restrain individuals when required.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
