Position Overview
The Processing Central Assistant Supervisor helps lead daily production activities by supporting staff monitoring quality and keeping work moving smoothly. This role assists with scheduling training and problem solving on the floor and steps in to cover supervisor duties when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations by keeping product moving efficiently through the processing area
- Ensure staff follow work instructions and safety guidelines
- Check finished product to confirm it meets quality standards
- Observe employee performance and provide coaching to keep teams focused and productive
- Assist with creating daily staff schedules
- Communicate with drivers and internal teams to coordinate product movement
- Help assign staff to priority tasks and adjust staffing as work changes
- Perform regular quality checks before product leaves the department
- Ensure work tracking and production records are completed accurately and on time
- Share information from management HR or the office with staff
- Help onboard new employees by providing orientation basic training and facility tours
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
Supervisor Coverage Duties
When covering for the Supervisor this role will also:
- Manage time and attendance records
- Prepare daily and weekly production reports
- Track progress toward weekly production goals
- Use labor planning tools to support staffing decisions
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or lead experience in a production warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to coach employees and address performance issues respectfully
- Comfortable working in a fast paced hands on environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling
- Spanish and English Fluency strongly preferred

Starting $24.80/hr
