Security Guard Full-Time Patrol

As a Security Guard - Full-Time Patrol in Miami FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will conduct routine patrols and access control checks remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication. You will partner with site teams document activities and support a welcoming experience for drivers employees and visitors while living our agile reliable innovative people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses yards loading docks parking areas and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees contractors and drivers including checking identification maintaining visitor and vehicle logs and directing deliveries to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalating situations when appropriate and requesting assistance from site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Document security-related activities hazards incidents and maintenance concerns in detailed written reports and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
