ATC Healthcare Staffing is urgently seeking RNs for work in the Duval County Public Schools District. ATC Healthcare is the #1 provider of nurses for Duval County School Systems. Nurses on this team must be willing to be flexible and to cover the various schools in theDuval County Area when needed.

- Monday Friday schedule

- Hours: 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM OR 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Job Description:
ATC Healthcare Services LLC is seeking compassionate caring and dedicated School Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our schools. ATC has an IMMEDIATE NEED for Registered School Nurses (RN) in Jacksonville FL.
The school nurse (RN) will be responsible for administering medication and appropriate first aid in accordance with established rules and guidelines. School RN will also maintain student health records medication logs etc.
They also assist the schools with routine school nurse responsibilities including immunization follow-up basic first aid administration of medication and performing routine and prescribed procedures.

Pay Rate:
RNs: $35/hr
School Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Professional medical treatment of students
- Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
- Disease prevention
- Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
- Maintaining clinical records
- Coordinating vision hearing and orthopedic screening and health assessments
- Providing emergency aid to students
- Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
- Aiding in student transport
School Nurse (RN) Qualifications:
- Active FL State Board Certified Registered Nurse Licensure
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to work with children.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- A Great Team Player
- Minimum of One-year nursing experience
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Current TB Test/PPD
