Description
This contract position offers an on-site opportunity to provide exceptional medical care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
As a Locum MD Hospitalist you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive medical services to patients managing their care and collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and ensuring quality healthcare delivery within our medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in Internal Medicine as a Hospitalist preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of electronic health record systems
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Admissions: 7-12 per night at one location 10-18 per night at another
Closed ICU
Minimal procedures if any
Support Staff: APPs residents and attendings
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
